Want to spend your summer exploring the outdoors?
Well, we can help you do just that! Whether you are looking for Day and Evening Camps or want to spend two weeks at a Sleep Away Camp, we have the program for you! Find the brochures here:

Our Summer Day and Evening Camps offer girls in grades K-12 a chance to explore the world around them. Girls will have a ton
of fun doing activities from singing and playing games to swimming and high adventure. The themes and settings for each camp are so different that each girl will easily find one that fits her interests best. Camps are offered in Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia and run from June 18th to August 17th and can be half day, full day or twilight. Camps range from one or two weeks.
Sleep Away Camp offers overnight adventures for girls in grades K-12. Memories are sure to be made roasting marshmallows around a campfire, singing songs, enjoying meals in the dining hall with lots of friends, hiking trails, splashing in the pool or creek, testing mind and body in a rigorous challenge course, or getting creative with crafts. Programs run from June 17th to August 10th .
Bus transportation is available for certain Day and Evening Camps and all four Sleep Away Camps.
Registration for Sleep Away Camp is first come, first served and opens January 24th, 2012.
Registration for Day and Evening Camps is either, lottery or first come first served and opens February 13th, 2012.
All registrations/ applications must be completed online. Financial assistance is available.

My Promise, My Faith kickoff eventSunday, January 29, 1-4 pm, GSCNC DC officeThis event will launch the new GSUSA faith award, My Promise, My Faith. Girls will have the chance to complete the first of 5 steps towards earning this award at the event. Complete requirements for the My Promise, My Faith award can be found in the Girl's Guide to Girl Scouting. Girls who complete the criteria for My Promise, My Faith by April 28th will be asked to stand for recognition at the Interfaith Service. Ticketing opens for the Interfaith ServiceWednesday, February 1The service is free to attend but you must register and receive a ticket, even if you are volunteering. Registration will be done through Survey Monkey in the month of February and is first come, first serve. Tickets will be mailed in March. Girl Scout 100th Anniversary Interfaith ServiceSaturday, April 28, 10-11 am, Washington National Cathedral (DC)All Girl Scouts, friends and family are invited to this recognition and celebration of the 100th Anniversary of Girl Scouts and the faiths our community represents.
